Frequently Asked Questions

1) Qn: How many catagories are there?
Ans: There are three catagories. Mainly: Ladies under 19, Ladies Open and Mixed Open.

2) Qn: What are the general rules & regulations for 4-0n-4 Netball?
Ans: 4-0n-4 Netball speaks for itself. Instead of the usual 7 per side netball, 4-0n-4 netball is played on half court, Street Netball style. Only two players from each team is allowed inside the semi-d. Also, the ball must be passed to the center third after a change of possession. 3) Qn: What is Netballuxion 2009?
Ans: Netballuxion 2009 is an annual street netball competition organised by the NUS Netball Club. It's a competition open to the public. Netballuxion was created with the main focus of educating the public on Netball and it's rules and also providing a platform for netball enthuists to shine. Registration opens 20th April 2009. Sign up early to avoid disappointment!

4) Qn: When is Netballuxion 2009 held?
Ans: Netballuxion 2009 will be held on 15-16 August 2009.
15th August 2009 - Preliminary rounds, round robin format
16th August 2009 - Finals & Mixed Open Rounds

5) Qn: Where will Netballuxion 2009 be held?
Ans: This year's Netballuxion will be held at Velocity @ Novena Square.

6) Qn: When will registration be open?
Ans: Registration opens 20th April 2009. Our Early Bird Special is available from 20th April 2009 til 31st May 2009. For more details, click here! or click Registration on your right (:

7) Qn: How many players in one team?
Ans: Only 6 players are allowed to be registered in one team. 4 on court, 2 subs.

8) Qn: How many male players can I register in a team?
Ans: Any team can register a maximum of 4 male players. However, only 2 male players are allowed on court. And only 1 male player is allowed in the semi-D

9) Qn: What are the shirt sizes?
Ans: Shirt sizes will be determined after registration as we're still trying to obtain shirt sponsors.
